Nearly summer in Strangeland gardens. Winter is cleaned up, weeds weeded, flower beds bedded, and the veggies all planted by the local Nurbles.
Time for a wee break before summer swings into full-riotous blossom. Marigold is first to arrive for the annual all-clan festival. She's from the bevy who live at the end of the path just beyond the Hummocks, who incidentally were already humming she said.

Like the rest of her cousins, she enjoys a good pikelet with jam, relaxing in the blue glow of a monitor in the evening and a squeezle anytime one is available.

She stands 3 inches tall or short depending on one's perspective. Made of bright tangerine wool dotted with lime and peacock blue ringing her face, donated by Bernice and Clarice the sheep sisters who bunk in the barn across the lane. She's made by the needle felting dry method which involves poking and poking a tuft of fluffy wool until her form begins to take shape. Then it's poked some more until she becomes solid. All this is done while loins are girded and gauntlet donned in the fear and reality that one might stab one's fingers right to the bone!! And then you poke s'more.

She plays well with other Bobbaloos, Feezles and Nurblets but despises the barn kitties with a passion.
