You try to raise them well, warn them and protect them but it's inevitable that a few now and then succumb to an accident. Stubby (as we like to call her) was wandering down the lane past the garden and into the field across the creek. She was mistaken for a chunk of lunch by Lars the goat who lives near there, who through no fault of his own, took a huge chomp off of what was a glorious Jacabunny ear. Stubby, after a few days in bed, seemed herself albeit a bit shorter, but poor Lars the goat I fear will never recover.

Stubby the Jacabunny is an avid gardener, has cravings for watercress and rutabaga salad, and adores bathing in the warm glow of a computer monitor and loves squeezles just like the rest of the gang.

Stubby stands 2.8 inches tall on the nubby side of her head. She has a cute little mini-button nose. A lovely sheep down the road named Evelynn donated the soft natural ecru wool for her face. Her body however is made of mossy green wool from Jasper the sheep, a friend of Evelynn from the other side of the wood. Stubby is made by the needle felting method which means poking and poking a lump of wool with a very sharp barbed needle until her form appears. This whole ordeal has made her understandably quivery.

She enjoys woodchucks and plays well with other "Bobs", Bunnies and Nurblettes. Has a fear of goats.
