Jacabobs and Bunnies have long been neighbours, occasionally having little Jacabunnies of their very own. The winters are quite long here, the dens are tiny, and television reception is poor. It can't be helped.

Yakima the Jacabunny is an avid snow shoe-er, has cravings for maple glazed hams and poutine, adores bathing in the warm glow of a computer monitor and loves squeezles just like the rest of the gang.

Yakima stands 3 inches tall including his ears. He has a cute little mini-button nose and wears sporty Pendleton stripes around his portly body. A lovely sheep down the road named Evelynn donated the soft natural white wool for his face and body however, the wool of his stripes from Bernice and Clarice the sheep sisters and friends of Evelynn from the other side of the glen. Yakima is made by the needle felting method which means poking and poking a lump of wool with a very sharp barbed needle until his form appears. Then you poke some more. And a little more after that just to make sure. This has made him brave in the face of adversity.

He enjoys sunset walks along the lake shore and plays well with other "Bobs", Bunnies and Nurblettes. Has "issues" with the barn kitties and they don't like him much either.
